Unlock English
Unlock English was created by Chris and Andriana, two teachers who have spent years watching Greek learners work hard in English lessons yet still struggle to use the language with confidence. As teachers—and as aunt and uncle to nieces and nephews facing the same challenge—we’ve seen first-hand the frustration: students who know the words, who have studied the grammar, who pass the school tests… but freeze when it’s time to actually speak. We founded Unlock English to bridge that gap between classroom English and real-life English, helping learners finally feel confident, natural, and proud of their communication.
Our backgrounds span UK and Greek education, language teaching, curriculum design, and online learning. Andriana’s own experience as a learner plays a big part in our “confidence first” approach—she remembers knowing the vocabulary but not having the courage to use it, and she brings that empathy into every lesson. Chris brings years of teaching, coaching, and curriculum strategy, focusing on clarity, simplicity, and real progress. Together, we create small, supportive groups where learners feel safe to practise, make mistakes, grow, and finally use the English they’ve worked so hard to learn.
Unlock English isn’t just about lessons—it’s about giving Greek learners the tools, confidence, and real-world communication skills to unlock their future. We’re building a warm community where learners can truly thrive, one confident conversation at a time.
